Iryna and Ryan got in touch with me for help planning their destination wedding in Scotland. Iryna knew she wanted fairytale romance at a castle in Edinburgh and I worked closely with her to create the perfect design for their big day at the gorgeous Carberry Tower.
Together, we created an elegant and romantic design of blushes and champagnes, complimented by a botanical print design. The floral design was loose and unstructured with summer blooms in varying shades of pinks and ivories.
After a year of planning the big event, the lovely couple headed over from New York with their family and friends for a two day celebration in exclusive luxury at one of Scotland’s most beautiful venues and one of the oldest castles in Scotland.
Iryna asked for a cake inspired by the royal weddings cake and we recreated the stunning design, complimented by vintage trays used as cake stands. In traditional Scottish style, the happy couple cut the cake with the piper’s sword.
Guests were entertained by a string quartet and later that evening by the fabulous band, The Brightside with lavish catering organised through the wonderful venue. After a wonderful few days celebrating together in Scotland, the guests headed back to New York with memories of the most fabulous fairytale celebration.
